About Darsy
Darsy helps students, parents and teachers organize in‑person classes at learning centers. By creating an account or using Darsy, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are under 18, please read them with your parent or guardian.
Your account
- Give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- Teachers are responsible for the assistant sign‑ins they create.
- We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk.
Classes and content
Classes are run by teachers, not by Darsy. Your teacher decides what is published in the app, such as lessons, homework and exams.
Teachers are responsible for the content they publish and must have the right to share it. Lessons and exams in Darsy are for your personal study: please don't copy or share them outside the app without your teacher's permission.
Content safety and reporting
Do not publish or submit harassment, bullying, hate, threats, sexual exploitation, harmful or unlawful content, spam, or another person’s private information without permission. These rules apply to announcements, teaching materials, homework, exam answers and user behavior. Use the flag/report action inside a class or on an announcement to report content or a user to Darsy moderators. Teachers can also report a student from the class roster. We investigate reports and may remove content, restrict accounts or take other appropriate action. False or retaliatory reports are prohibited.
Payments
Teachers can record payments in Darsy so everyone sees the same balance. Questions about fees, refunds or balances go to your teacher or center.
Exams and fair use
Do your own work. During exams, screenshots are blocked and leaving the app is recorded for your teacher.
Please don't try to get around these protections, access other people's accounts or data, disrupt the service, or use Darsy for anything unlawful or abusive.
Closing your account
You can close your account at any time. Closing it stops sign-in and removes unnecessary personal details and private submissions. Limited linked class/tuition history and shared teaching materials remain as explained in the Privacy Policy. See Delete your account for the steps.
Availability and liability
We work hard to keep Darsy available and accurate, but it is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons beyond our control.
Darsy is not responsible for the classes themselves, their schedules, or fees you agree with your teacher or center. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using Darsy.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page and tell you in the app about important changes. Continuing to use Darsy after an update means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
