Who we are

Darsy is a mobile app for students, parents and teachers of in‑person classes at learning centers in Egypt. It comes as two apps: Darsy for students and parents, and Darsy for teachers. This policy applies to both apps and to this website.

When this policy says “we” or “us”, it means the Darsy team. You can reach us at [email protected] or +20 109 079 4168.

What we collect

Account information

When you register we keep your name, email address, phone number and address, and your password stored as a secure hash. Students can add a profile photo. Teachers also add the subjects and groups they teach, and can add a profile photo, bio, qualifications and years of experience, and create sign‑ins (name, phone number and password) for their assistants.

Class activity

We keep the groups you join, your attendance, the homework you submit (including photos and files you choose to upload), your exam answers and results, and the XP, levels and streaks the app calculates from this activity. If you leave the app during an exam, the time is recorded so your teacher can see it.

Payment records

When your teacher records a payment, we keep its amount and date, so you, your teacher and a linked parent see the same balance.

Parent sign‑in

If a parent uses the parent login, we keep the phone number or email and PIN used to sign in, and which student the login follows.

Device information

To send notifications we keep the push notification token your device provides. The app also stores your language choice and sign‑in session on your device.

Messages to us

If you contact us, we keep your message and our reply so we can help you.

What we don't collect

Your location.
Your contacts.
Advertising identifiers. Darsy shows no ads and uses no analytics or advertising tracking tools.

How we use it

To run your classes in the app: schedules, lessons, homework, exams, results and attendance.
To let your teacher manage their groups: take attendance, grade work and publish lessons.
To let a linked parent follow progress.
To suggest grades and feedback when your teacher chooses AI‑assisted grading.
To send notifications about sessions, homework, results and attendance.
To send verification codes by email when you register or reset a password.
To keep accounts and exams secure, for example by limiting repeated sign‑in attempts.
To answer your questions and to meet legal obligations.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we never sell or rent it.

Safety reports

When you report content or a user, we store your account identifier and role, the class and reported item/user, your reason and description, a context snapshot and the moderation status/notes. Only authorized Darsy moderators can review the full report; it is not shown to classmates or the reported person. We use this information to investigate concerns, prevent abuse and record the action taken. We may retain necessary safety records for a legitimate security or legal purpose; contact us to request access or deletion.

Payments

Teachers can record the payments they receive in Darsy. We keep each record's amount and date so you, your teacher and a linked parent see the same balance and history.

Device permissions

Darsy asks for a permission only when you use a feature that needs it. You can change permissions at any time in your device settings.

Camera	To take a photo of your homework or a profile photo.
Photos and files	To choose images or files to upload.
Microphone (iPhone, optional)	Only if you record a video to upload.
Notifications	To receive reminders and updates. You can turn them off.

To keep exams fair, the app blocks screenshots and screen recording while an exam is open.

How long we keep it

We keep account information while you use Darsy. Deleting your account stops sign-in and removes your profile and contact details, student birth date, credentials, private submitted answers, personal notes and feedback. Uploaded files are deleted unless they are still used by another person or a shared lesson.

Limited enrollment, attendance, results and tuition history remains with the center for class records and reconciliation, under a deleted-account label and internal account references. Shared teaching materials and other students' records also remain. Retained history has no automatic expiry; you can ask us to review and delete associated records.

Necessary safety evidence remains private to moderators until an investigation is resolved or dismissed. We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, except for specifically justified retention that we explain to you. See Delete your account for the full deletion scope and steps.

Closing your account

Students can close their account at any time in the app from Profile → Edit profile → Close account. Teachers can delete theirs in Darsy for teachers from Profile → Delete account. You can also ask us by email to delete your account and personal data.

Students under 18

Many Darsy students are under 18. Student accounts exist so students can take part in classes their teacher runs at the center, and parents can follow their child's progress with the parent login. If you are under 18, please use Darsy with your parent or guardian's knowledge.

A parent or guardian can contact us at any time to review or delete their child's information.

Security

Information travels between the app and our servers encrypted over HTTPS. Passwords are stored as secure hashes, never as plain text. Access is limited by role: a teacher sees only their own groups, and parents have view‑only access.

No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private and tell us if you notice anything unusual.

Your choices

See your information in the app, or ask us for a copy.
Correct it from Edit profile, or ask your teacher to fix class records.
Delete it by closing your account or emailing us.
Turn off notifications in your device settings.

Email us at [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app about important changes.

من نحن

درسي تطبيق للطلاب وأولياء الأمور والمعلمين في حصص السناتر التعليمية في مصر. ويتكون من تطبيقين: درسي للطلاب وأولياء الأمور، ودرسي للمعلمين. تنطبق هذه السياسة على التطبيقين وعلى هذا الموقع.

ما نجمعه

بيانات الحساب

عند التسجيل نحتفظ باسمك وبريدك الإلكتروني ورقم هاتفك وعنوانك، وكلمة المرور محفوظة بشكل مشفّر آمن. ويمكن للطالب إضافة صورة شخصية. ويضيف المعلم المواد والمجموعات التي يدرّسها، ويمكنه إضافة صورة شخصية ونبذة ومؤهلات وسنوات الخبرة، وإنشاء حسابات دخول (الاسم ورقم الهاتف وكلمة المرور) لمساعديه.

نشاط الحصص

نحتفظ بالمجموعات التي تنضم إليها، وحضورك، والواجبات التي تسلّمها (بما فيها الصور والملفات التي تختار رفعها)، وإجاباتك ونتائجك في الامتحانات، ونقاط XP والمستويات والسلاسل التي يحسبها التطبيق من هذا النشاط. وإذا غادرت التطبيق أثناء الامتحان يُسجَّل الوقت ليراه معلمك.

سجلات المدفوعات

عندما يسجّل معلمك دفعة نحتفظ بقيمتها وتاريخها، ليرى أنت ومعلمك وولي الأمر المرتبط بك نفس الرصيد.

دخول ولي الأمر

إذا استخدم ولي الأمر حساب ولي الأمر نحتفظ برقم الهاتف أو البريد والرمز السري المستخدمَين للدخول، والطالب الذي يتابعه هذا الحساب.

بيانات الجهاز

لإرسال الإشعارات نحتفظ برمز الإشعارات الذي يوفّره جهازك. ويحفظ التطبيق أيضًا اللغة التي اخترتها وجلسة الدخول على جهازك.

إذا تواصلت معنا نحتفظ برسالتك وردّنا عليها لنتمكن من مساعدتك.

ما لا نجمعه

موقعك الجغرافي.
جهات الاتصال الخاصة بك.
معرّفات الإعلانات. لا يعرض درسي أي إعلانات ولا يستخدم أدوات تحليل أو تتبع إعلاني.

كيف نستخدمه

لتشغيل حصصك في التطبيق: المواعيد والدروس والواجبات والامتحانات والنتائج والحضور.
ليتمكن معلمك من إدارة مجموعاته: تسجيل الحضور والتصحيح ونشر الدروس.
ليتابع ولي الأمر المرتبط بك تقدمك.
لاقتراح الدرجات والتعليقات عندما يختار معلمك التصحيح بمساعدة الذكاء الاصطناعي.
لإرسال إشعارات عن الحصص والواجبات والنتائج والحضور.
لإرسال رموز التحقق بالبريد عند التسجيل أو إعادة تعيين كلمة المرور.
لحماية الحسابات والامتحانات، مثل الحد من محاولات الدخول المتكررة.
للرد على أسئلتك والالتزام بالقانون.

لا نستخدم بياناتك في الإعلانات، ولا نبيعها أو نؤجرها أبدًا.

بلاغات السلامة

عند الإبلاغ عن محتوى أو مستخدم، نحتفظ بمعرّف حسابك ودورك والمجموعة والمحتوى أو المستخدم المُبلّغ عنه وسبب البلاغ ووصفك ونسخة من السياق وحالة المراجعة وملاحظاتها. يراجع البلاغ كاملًا مشرفو درسي المصرّح لهم فقط، ولا يظهر للزملاء أو للشخص المُبلّغ عنه. نستخدم هذه البيانات للتحقيق ومنع الإساءة وتسجيل الإجراء المتخذ. قد نحتفظ بسجلات السلامة الضرورية لغرض أمني أو قانوني مشروع؛ تواصل معنا لطلب الاطلاع أو الحذف.

المدفوعات

يمكن للمعلم تسجيل المدفوعات التي يستلمها في درسي. ونحتفظ بقيمة كل سجل وتاريخه ليرى أنت ومعلمك وولي الأمر المرتبط بك نفس الرصيد والسجل.

أذونات الجهاز

يطلب درسي الإذن فقط عندما تستخدم ميزة تحتاجه، ويمكنك تغيير الأذونات في أي وقت من إعدادات جهازك.

الكاميرا	لتصوير واجبك أو صورتك الشخصية.
الصور والملفات	لاختيار صور أو ملفات لرفعها.
الميكروفون (آيفون، اختياري)	فقط إذا سجّلت فيديو لرفعه.
الإشعارات	لتصلك التذكيرات والتحديثات، ويمكنك إيقافها.

للحفاظ على عدالة الامتحانات، يمنع التطبيق لقطات الشاشة وتسجيلها أثناء فتح الامتحان.

مدة الاحتفاظ

نحتفظ ببيانات الحساب أثناء استخدامك لدرسي. حذف الحساب يوقف تسجيل الدخول ويحذف بيانات ملفك وتواصلك وتاريخ ميلاد الطالب وبيانات الدخول والإجابات الشخصية والملاحظات والتعليقات. تُحذف الملفات المرفوعة ما لم تظل مستخدمة لدى شخص آخر أو في درس مشترك.

تبقى سجلات محدودة للتسجيل والحضور والنتائج والمدفوعات لدى السنتر لسجلات الحصص ومطابقة الحسابات، باسم حساب محذوف ومراجع حساب داخلية. تبقى أيضًا المواد التعليمية المشتركة وسجلات الطلاب الآخرين. لا تُحذف السجلات المحتفظ بها تلقائيًا بعد مدة ثابتة؛ ويمكنك طلب مراجعتها وحذف السجلات المرتبطة بك.

تقتصر أدلة الأمان الضرورية على المشرفين حتى حسم التحقيق أو رفض البلاغ. ننفذ طلبات الحذف المتحقق منها خلال 30 يومًا، باستثناء احتفاظ مبرر ومحدد نوضحه لك. راجع صفحة حذف الحساب لمعرفة نطاق الحذف وخطواته بالكامل.

إغلاق الحساب

يمكن للطالب إغلاق حسابه في أي وقت من التطبيق عبر الملف الشخصي ← تعديل الملف الشخصي ← إغلاق الحساب. ويمكن للمعلم حذف حسابه من درسي للمعلمين عبر الملف الشخصي ← حذف الحساب. ويمكنك أيضًا أن تطلب منا بالبريد حذف حسابك وبياناتك الشخصية.

الطلاب دون 18 عامًا

كثير من طلاب درسي أعمارهم أقل من 18 عامًا. حسابات الطلاب موجودة ليشاركوا في الحصص التي يقدمها معلمهم في السنتر، ويتابع أولياء الأمور تقدم أبنائهم بحساب ولي الأمر. إذا كان عمرك أقل من 18 عامًا فاستخدم درسي بعلم ولي أمرك.

يمكن لولي الأمر التواصل معنا في أي وقت لمراجعة بيانات ابنه أو حذفها.

الأمان

تنتقل البيانات بين التطبيق وخوادمنا مشفّرة عبر HTTPS. وتُحفظ كلمات المرور مشفّرة وليس كنص عادي. والوصول محدود حسب الدور: المعلم يرى مجموعاته فقط، وولي الأمر للمتابعة فقط.

لا يوجد نظام آمن تمامًا، لذا احتفظ بكلمة مرورك لنفسك وأخبرنا إذا لاحظت أي شيء غير معتاد.

خياراتك

الاطلاع على بياناتك في التطبيق، أو طلب نسخة منها.
تصحيحها من تعديل الملف الشخصي، أو بطلب ذلك من معلمك لسجلات الحصص.
حذفها بإغلاق حسابك أو مراسلتنا.
إيقاف الإشعارات من إعدادات جهازك.
